How to Remove SlimStat from Dashboard Footer?

Right now that’s not possible. I am going to add a filter so that you can remove it that way. The filter is called slimstat_footer_thank_you.

How would I go about adding that or would I send you my account user and info?

You could add the following code to your functions.php:

function no_slimstat_footer( $content ){
  return '';
}
add_filter('slimstat_footer_thank_you', 'no_slimstat_footer');

Adding your code broke my functions.php file with the error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function add_filter()

It looks right and I cut and pasted it exactly as you have it to the bottom of the functions.php file but I still receive the error message, what am I doing wrong?

Try making a plugin instead. Search the codex to learn how.

Why not just make it easy for users of your plugin to remove the thank you line from the bottom of the dashboard? Why force them to display it or create a plugin to hide it?
