How to remove the bottom list of pages from theme?

underneath the photo of the woman, on the home page, there is a purple block that contains a vertical listing of the pages. I want to remove those links.

Sounds like a widget if I understood it right. Head over to your Dashboard and check under Appearance > Widget. Once you’ve found the offending widget, simply drag it out of the widget area/box and that should do the trick.

Ah ok, you have added a widget in your front page.

I think it is on Front Page Top Section.

Go to Appearence > Widgets and see you have any widget there.

the only widget I have active is the “pages” widget in the “front page top section” and that’s the list of pages you see in the nav at the top… but don’t know why it repeats the nav under the slider??

AHA! thank you… the description for “front page top section” widget says “this widget shows on the front page under the header” so I was taking that as needed to show the page nav.

No plugin, just go to Appearence > Theme Options and include your social network links there.
