how to remove the overlay caption?

    Hello,
    When using a caption, it appears both as overlay on the thumbnail and then below the image. Is there a way to remove the “overlay caption”?

    Oh I find it! By selecting the image to use in the media library, one can set the caption that gets displayed in the lightbox with the “Title” option.

    Hi, glad to hear you found an answer to your question.

    For future reference, SLB only controls what is displayed in the lightbox itself. The display of captions, etc. displayed on the page (e.g. for image thumbnails) is controlled by the settings in post editor or the theme.
