How to remove the plugin but keep the content?

  • Hi all,

    I need to remove plugin and forum -momentarily, hopefully-.

    But I need to keep all the topics up.

    How can one remove the plugin but keep all the forum entries in read-only?

    Hello @lucio7

    In that case please just remove the plugin via FTP from your plugins-folder. Dont use uninstall since this will wipe all data.

    Also keep in mind that forum content is not visible without the plugin installed.

    Not visible means that one can read it following a link, but not navigating there?

    Also, if there is any option to turn those pages into read-only just let me know and glad to turn it into a project if you or someone else can do it.
