    Hello everyone,

On the webpage of the Product Finder, the internal links to the products have an attribute of rel=nofollow. It was produced by Yoast plugin.

I want to move the rel-nofollow, but did not find the way to do that.

Does anyone know how to move the rel=nofollow in the internal links?

    Thanks in advance!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @jichao2024,

Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. It has the advanced link settings option when creating or editing a link in WordPress where you can set link attributes. Learn at https://yoast.com/help/which-link-settings-should-i-use/

@maybellyne Hello, thanks for the lin. But it does not work. The internal link rel=nofollow issue I have happens in the Product Finder page, as I attached in the question.

It seems it is not an anchor text internal link in a paragraph, but a block.

Do you know how to resolve this problem?

    Thanks!

    Hi @jichao2024

You mentioned there is a block in the paragraph and not the anchor text. I have visited the product-finder page, however, I need more help to find the block you are referring to.

Please provide us with screenshots that highlight the block you are referring to. You can use any image-sharing service like https://pasteboard.co/, https://snag.gy/, https://imgur.com/, https://snipboard.io/, or even upload the screenshot to your own website. Once you upload it to an image-sharing service, please share the link to the image here.

@611shabnam Hello, I uploaded the screenshot via https://pasteboard.co/. If you cannot see it, please feel free to let let me know.

In the screenshot, the products circled by the green rectangular should be in a Block editor. And the screenshot was made in an Elementor editing mode.

    Thanks!

Though you uploaded a screenshot to Pasteboard, we can’t see it unless you share the link. Regarding the issue you reported, editing or setting link attributes in WordPress can only be done in the default WordPress editor and not a page builder like Elementor.

However, it’s more helpful to see what you are referring to via a screenshot.

@maybellyne Hi, sorry about that you cannot see the uploaded screenshot. The link is https://guardianchem.com/product-finder/ If you right click on the ‘4 MENT PLUS Bio Enzymatic Cleaner and Deodourizer’ and select Inspect, you can find the rel=nofollow. Thanks!

4 MENT PLUS is wrapped in an <h2 but I don’t see the nofollow link. Am I missing something? See screenshot.

Assuming it was there, since the page is created in Elementor, the link attributes settings I was referring to won’t work here. You may consider reaching out to Elementor on how to remove it.

@maybellyne in the <h2, there is not any nofollow link, but if check the Read more about “4 MENT PLUS” rel=”nofollow”>Read more . Nofollow is there. And I think it is why the Semrush detects is to be a nofollow attribute. This confuses us.

@maybellyne I have reached out to Elemetnor. They said it was not their business and let us to reach out to Woocommerce.

Yoast claims to be ‘soooo good’ at seo but the plugin will sabotage your seo just by not including a bulk removal setting. the script to make it wouldn’t even be that hard to make… is yoast’s wordpress plugin opensource?
