How to remove the side bar

  • Hello all I have the theme Business Pro and I am trying to remove the categories search and archives from the right side of my pages. Its not on my hompage just on all the others. I have tried removing

    <!–Start sidebar–>
    <?php get_sidebar(); ?>
    <!–End sidebar–>

    from archive.php/header.php

    but is still hasnt worked just wondering if anyone could give some advice on it

    I renamed the sidebar.php file to sidebar1.php and it took out the whole sidebar
