How to remove the text "category :" on category archive pages?

If you are using a child theme, use this code in its style.css. If you are not useing child theme, install one of those Custom CSS plugins and use this code in it.

/* Hide the word "Category: " on category archive for Twenty Fifteen v 1.2 */

.archive.category .page-title {
	overflow: hidden;
	text-indent: -5.05em;
}

Anyway, it is only hidden and still part of the H2.

For SEO purpose, I need to remove the text from the code.

Any other suggestion to manage it?

In that case, there need to be a php way, use it in child theme’s functions.php
