How to remove the tooltips of the thumbnails

    The alternative text of the pictures used for thumbnails contains a number. Sample : Courge butternut farcie et roties au fromage et aux herbes 6

    I dont want this number, how to remove it ? Removing the tooltip could be a solution.

    Thank you for reaching out.

    As you wrote, the tooltip uses the alt text that is added in WordPress. Thats not a feature of Recent Posts Widget With Thumbnails. There is no option to remove only part of the alt text with the plugin.

    You have to remove the number from the alternitive text of the image. Thats the only solution I can offer.

    By the way. Removing the alt text is a bad idea in terms of search engines.

    Thank you SO much for your quick answer ! the thing I don’t undertand is that the tooltip that appear is not the alternat text of the picture but the title of the post. But you’re right this is the same on my post page. So the problem is somewhere else…
