How to remove thumbnail image from the post

  • hello my seniors in WP
    i am facing a problem where thumbnail image is also being posted along with image what i want to attach in my post. hence there are two image.
    1. at starting at the post ie thumbnail
    2. in the middle of post ie. what i want to attach in my post

    please tell me how to remove thumbnail image from post without affecting index page where post title is with thumbnail image.
