How to remove time stamp from search engine result pages.

Would you still like the date to show up on your website? Just not in search engines? Or would you like to remove it completely?

Is there any way to change the timestamp with last updated. I mean showing the last updated date instead of published date. Both in search engine results pages and on page / post.
