How to remove title on hover

    Good day. I like your plugin. Have been trying to use css to remove a hover hand showing on gallery brings up the title in the old yucky yellow box.

    I’m using Neve theme, Elementor and your Masonry Gallery. I do not have lightbox on, no hover effects, no captions, no text, nothing; just images with drop shadow. There shouldn’t be a hand w/title showing on hover. Want just a regular pointer w/o showing anything on hover.

    Please advise. Thanks!

    Howdy and thanks for the reply. At present my site isn’t launched yet; still developing it. Have you never seen this before?

    As stated I’m using Elementor and put the gallery shortcode in their shortcode widget. In Inspector, Elementor cursor is set to default, yet shows the grab hand only over gallery images; nowhere else on site. Then when hovered it brings up that stupid old yellow box.

    Being fairly tech savvy, I’ve tried to find what to hide but nothing works using css. Really don’t want to labor figuring out a function to stop it, so contacted you.

    This is not possible in the current version without some custom code.

    However, the new version we are working on has a setting to turn off the image title attribute which is causing the hover text to show.

    Let me know if you want to try the beta and I will upload a zip for you to try

    I spent a bit of time today inspecting the code again. Quite by accident I found another instance of cursor pointer. Tried to stop it with css, no joy. Knew it had to be battling codes I couldn’t figure out. Devs are getting sneakier. ??

    Then when you are editing a gallery, under the Advanced tab, change the “Image Title Attribute” setting to disabled.

    When I click on link there’s just a WeTransfer page, no download links, etc.

    Finally cracked it. lol No more pointer finger or titles.
