• Hi everybody.

The website I am trying to fix is https://www.convivienda.com which is a site that I made very quick a few days ago. We even created our own theme with Artisteer.

What is driving my crazy is the Home-page Title and description that shows in the top bar of the browser, or a Tab in the case you have several pages opened.

I put on title Convivienda, and on description, Consejo Nacional de Promotores de Vivienda – Panamá. Yes it is in spanish.

So far so good right? WRONG! the title shows this Bienvenido to ElectrIX!, then the title and the description.

I have searched within the styles, within the header.php files, and everything. No matter what I don’t find this title to remove it.

The funny thing is, when I use a standard theme (the ones that come with WP) the title gets fixed.

I also looked on the DB with phpMyadmin but I don’t find that anywhere.

Can someone help me figuring this out?

    Thank you in advance.

Oh as a follow up. If I enable SEO Ultimate it fixes that since it replaces titles of the URLs to be more SEO friendly.

My question is where are those titles saved so I can delte Bienvenido to ElectrIX! and also there is a page that says Página nueva (New page) Even though the title is Quienes somos.

    ???

I am new to WordPress and I am really confused here.

I’m sorry but we do not support Artisteer themes here. Try asking on https://www.artisteer.com/?forum_id=13&p=forum_topics
