How to remove white space on front page after changing size post thumbnail?

    I have changed the size of two of the featured images/post thumbnails on the front page of my website: https://www.theslctd.com/. The theme I am working with is Blue Chic: Isabelle (child theme).

    Unfortunately, however, a white space has appeared under the post that is next to the post of which I have changed the size of the featured image.

    After I have spent the whole day trying to figure out how to solve this problem I hope someone can help me. Could anyone inform me on how to remove the white space?
