    After changing hosting I can’t access wp, I deleted the wordfence folder via ftp and deleted the database tables that start with wf, I also deleted the wflogs folder from wp-content, I should also remove the wordfence-waf.php file in the rott of the site but it is not there and then I should delete the instructions between # Wordfence WAF and # END Wordfence WAF in the htaccess file but they are not present, how can I deactivate wordfence to be able to access wp?
    Thank you

    Hi @userweb,

    Thank you for reaching out.

    Wordfence-waf.php and the code on .htaccess will only be added if the firewall is optimized.

    If you don’t see both, it means the firewall was not optimized.

    Is the error you see when you log in Wordfence related? Send a screenshot if possible.

    Thanks

    Hi, thanks for the help, the problem wasn’t wordfence but another plugin, which I deactivated and now everything is ok, thanks anyway!

    Hi, thanks to you, I ask you something, is it always possible to use the free basic version of wordfence or upon expiration and after a certain period of time do you have to switch to the pro version?
    Thank you.

    @userweb,

    There is no limit to the period of time you can use the free version of wordfence. You can use it for as long as you like.

    In case you need to move to the premium version or have any premium questions, please reach out to [email protected] with a description of your issue as we are not allowed to discuss the premium version on this forum.

    Thanks,
