    Hi,

I created a site for a client and have removed all WordPress references from it, or so I thought.

I also gave two of the users permissions to edit pages. And here lies my problem; when editing pages the site title changes to “Edit page < [blogname] – WordPress”. So, all my efforts towards hiding WordPress references were in vain.

I have looked everywhere and couldn’t find a solution to my problem. Is there a way to edit the site title that is displayed when in admin mode?

  • There are a few to try from:

Or try searching within the WordPress plugins directory (tagged) “admin panel“.

Always check to see if the plugin is compatible with your version of WordPress.

I started with AG Custom Admin and it did the trick. Thank you!

How I did it: at the top of the ‘AG Custom Admin Settings’ page, I selected the ‘Admin Bar’ tab and on the ‘Left Side’ section, I changed the field ‘Page title template’ to “%PAGE% – %BLOG%”.
