    Hi,
I want to achieve something that should be very simple : I want to change the homepage name.
by default it is “home”. I tried to change the name in settings>reading.
Let’s say I want to give it the name “trucks”.
So I’d like to see “trucks” in the header menu, instead of “home”.
By changing the settings in reading, what I have is it is still “home”, and on that page, I have a big title “trucks”, which is not what i want.

    Thanks

What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

I’m using a theme I bought for $40 to a guy who builds themes. Are you saying it is a theme limitation ?

ok, you’re right ! I activated the default 2014 WP theme, and my homepage shows the way I wanted.
It is a theme limitation indeed.
Any clue which page I should check and edit to remove this limitation ?

ok, i have another issue similar to this :
for every menu I have in my header, a big title will appear with the menu name.
For instance, I have a menu named “about us”. If I click on “about us”, i will go to mywebsite.com/about-us. And on that page, I have a title on top (just below the horizontal menu) named “about us”.
How could I remove that ?
It is stupid. If you already clicked on the link “about us”, you don’t need a reminder in huge capital letters reminding you you are on the “about us” page…
