how to rename wp-admin properly

  • hai i want to know how to rename wp-admin properly ?

    i already understand how to rename plugin & wp-content by copying to another folder directory

    i create copy of wp-admin and rename it to exp : myadmin , and i can access it like usual wp-admin but i can’t create post / page in dashboard

    is it another way that i missed when renname wp-admin ? please give me suggestion , thanks

    Hi,

    You need to use the admin WP-Hide > Admin > Admin URL -> enter a new slug which will replace the default wp-admin. There’s no need to copy / move anything through the plugin, just fill in the fields and save.

    Once admin slug changed, you will be prompted to re-login. Possible you need to clear your server cache if use such thing.
