• Theme: Sharepoint like 1.5

In the comment and meta links, there is a foreign word I want to replace with the English equiv.

Where can I find where this is?…..thanks

  • Without knowing the word or the theme, I’d suggest this great program to search the theme for you:

Hi podz, I’ll play with the file finder, thanks!
These are the words I would like to replace.

???????????μ???????°?€??? = supposed to be comments
?????°????μ??3????€????? = not sure what this is in the meta links.

    The second is “Category” ??
I remember seeing it in one of the themes… Probably the author forgot to change it from his/her mother tongue.
Go to the sidebar.php of the theme and find it under the Meta section.

“I remember seeing it in one of the themes… Probably the author forgot to change it from his/her mother tongue”

You know, this strikes me as funny…because everything else was taken word for word from my theme (which was in English). ??

Okay, okay. I’m done playing antagonist now. ??

I don’t know which one is your theme and as I said I don’t remember where I’ve seen those words in Cyrillic. ??

This is the theme with the Cyrillic words that knotty is referring to:
    https://www.alexking.org/software/wordpress/themes/blog/index.php?wptheme=Sharepoint+like

This was my theme (submitted a week prior to the one above):
    https://www.alexking.org/software/wordpress/themes/blog/index.php?wptheme=Simple+Green

But my comment wasn’t anything against you, moshu. I just find it ironic how the whole theme (including html comments and placeholder text) was copied word for word from my theme except, apparently, the comments and categories text. Just funny, that all. ??

    I know it wasn’t against me ??
I just couldn’t identify the 2 themes. Thanks for the links.

Ok, thanks all. prissed, in fact, I just tried your theme and indeed it’s just like the one I was trying to get the foreign word out.

I’ll just use your theme instead. Thanks! I love the layout, left menu and wide text length.

lol, well that wasn’t my intended response, knotty. But if it works for you, then I’m glad. ??

Well, in case you are still interested, knotty, you can take prissed’s index.php template, copy it and paste it right over top of Sharepoint Like’s index.php. Viola, english.

It’s a nice clean template, it appeals to a lot of people. Changing the colors should be a breeze for many people. My advice is to just grab Simple Green and experiment with the CSS, as was the intention of the author, I’m sure.
