How To Require User to Update Profile?

I’m adding thousands of users to a new website by importing a list of email addresses (using “Add Multiple Users” plugin). I need a way to force them to update their user profile (which has been expanded using “Cimy User Extra Fields” plugin) before they can do anything else on the website. I thought “PassExpire” plugin would do the trick, but…

a) it doesn’t work as advertised (on WP 3.2.1); and
b) it only requires the user to update password (not the extra fields).

Is there some other way to do this? Thanks.
