how to reset?

I have updated my theme – which broke buddypress. So I wanted to run this plugin again to fix everything…

but it always starts at step three. I need it to start at the part where it moves the template files (the begining).

And then I saw this….

Reset Setup
If you would like to run through the setup process again please use the reset button (you will start at step three if you haven’t removed the template files)

So what does that mean exactly? Could someone tell me what files to edit or move or delete to get this plugin to run from the start again?
