I am practicing adding beta sites to practice on MS, and deleted them.
I start anew, and the site ID tag is not reset. It just continues at where I deleted the last beta subsite/blog.
How do I reset the site ID tags?

You generally don’t. Why do you want to?

The number is used internally. Users don’t see it and is has no relevance other than for looking up that blog.

So, there’s absolutely no reason to have the numbers reset.

Unless you reinstall / much around in the db.

I want to reset them so I know how many subsites I have in the sites view pane. I will eventually have up to 2o. Through trial and error of finding appropriate plugins/ and navigating all around, I have been deleting them and starting afresh. The numbers just look confusing to me that’s all. I’m pretty much an end user regarding superadmin management and am not a coder.

Then you REALLY don’t want to mess around with the database ?? The directions would involve a lot of PHP/SQL mangling, and it’s not for the novice. I’ve done it, and I won’t do it again.

Go to the main Super Admin menu. It say you have X sites. ??

And also on the top left of the Sites menu (i think)
