How to Resize Header Image

  • Hi,
    I am new to WordPress and just learning the basics. The problem I’m having is that I can’t figure out how to shrink my header image. I would like the same photo, just at maybe 30%-40% of its current size. I’ve spent way too much time with this (in both WordPress and iPhoto)…please help!

  • Maybe try an online tool like this one – https://www.picresize.com/

    I use Photoshop, but if you just want to resize one photo, this tool might be ok.

    Thank you! I think I’m making progress. The issue I now have is that the picture is distorted when trying to resize to 288 x 1000. If I can combine this picture with another picture (that is have two pics 288 x 500 next to each other), I think I will have something I can use on my website. Is there a way to do this? Thanks again.
