    Folks,
I was trying to take a current theme and tweak it as my own for my site.

I replaced the old stylesheet with my own and did my best to tweak the various template files in accordance to the stylesheet. but this is what I have so far; https://www.sachistudio.com

has anyone experienced this problem before with the duplicate headers and the sidebar falling below the content. I know my CSS was validated prior to my uploading the site to a WP site. Thoughts or suggestions on what direction to take?

I may have to just go back and use the kubrick theme and build on that instead as it may be simpler to do than to use a more advancd theme.

  • Did you check your source code? You have that header stuff twice: once BEFORE the body tag and once after.

Yes, I did. But the question becomes how to get rid of it.

I’m thinking that I needed to go into the page.php file or index.php file but I’m not sure what I should be looking for to avoid this duplication.

Probably none of those, but header.php.
