How to Resolve this WordPress error

  • When i Opened the error_log file f one of my blog i am seeing the below Error

    [01-May-2014 13:33:35] WordPress database error MySQL server has gone away for query SELECT option_value FROM wp_options WHERE option_name = '_transient_doing_cron' LIMIT 1 made by _get_cron_lock"

    I can see Same error almost four to five times per day. Can Someone Suggest me what error is this. How to Resolve such errors????
