how to restore a database

hi all.
I have been handed a WordPress back up directory that I think contains a duplicator folder.
I would like to restore the database to a clean WordPress install.
Can anyone advise how to do this please?
I have followed the instructions here https://snapcreek.com/duplicator/docs/quick-start/?utm_source=duplicator_free&utm_medium=wordpress_plugin&utm_content=packages_empty&utm_campaign=quick_start
But the “Next” button is still greyed out in the Installer>Basic dialogue box.
