How To Restore Back-Up After Switching Servers!

  • Hi,

    I switched from Godaddy to SiteGround. I have an email when was with Godaddy with backup of site database. How can I upload that database to new website?

    I’ve tried manually inputting but nothing happens. Any resource would be greatly appreciated!!!!

    Hello @jdog81

    You can upload the files via FTP and import the sql dump of the database using phpMyAdmin.

    If you need assistance you can always open a support ticket – at SiteGorund there is 1 free website transfer and since you mentioned that your account is new, I guess that you haven’t taken advantage of this.
