    hey @chaython;
    I’m somewhat confused by the fact that you mentions emojis and checkout icons. is this because you tried the “remove emojis”-option and the problem started at that point? could you make a screenshot of what you are seeing?

    OK, I’m assuming by “yes” you mean “yes I tried ‘remove emojis’ and it doesn’t work since” ??

    so here’s some feedback;
    -> I can see the inline emoji-code in your HTML, so you unchecked that option
    -> The inline emoji-code is succesfully calling wp-includes/js/wp-emoji-release.min.js so all emoji-stuff is happening as before
    -> it’s not entirely obvious to me what is missing on the left hand of the screenshot, but on the right side you have an admin-page where I indeed can see that some of the icons are missing next to the menu-items (which are font-icons loaded from WordPress’ dashicons.min.css and as such are not impacted by emoji’s being active or not)

    now the last item is pretty important, as Autoptimize is not active on the backend (admin-pages), leading to the (non-final) conclusion at this point that your problem might not be due to autoptimize after all.
    -> can you confirm/ deny by disabling AO and seeing if the problem persists?
    -> what other (performance-related) plugins have you got running?

    Thanks; when disabling autoptimize it fixed some issues. But the overall issue was related to our static. sub-domain. Moving plugin resources from static back to the root fixed the issues mentioned here.
