How to restrict a Custom Post Type to be written/published only by Editors?

  • I want a particular Custom Post Type to be written and published only by the Editor Role, not all the others (I got many I created), in the backend.

    The others Roles should’t even see this Custom Post Type in the backend.

    I know there is the Adminimize plugin to hide stuff, but i got this issue here.

    I also read Justin padlock’s article, but I am not sure if you need to write all that stuff just to say:”This Custom Post Type is only for this Role”, using “capability_type” and “capabilities”.

    Any help?
