How to resume an abandoned plugin?

Or if you can download the plugin outright then you can submit an updated substantially new one as a fork.

There are for example:

Both need some work and I already did that on GitHub https://github.com/foe-services/google-analytics-mu + https://github.com/foe-services/wp-permalauts-mu
but I would love to push these to the/ a www.ads-software.com SVN/repo to make them publicly better accessible.

I’m not involved in plugins here (good thing too I don’t have the PHP chops for that) but I’m pretty sure that unless the author let’s you then you you can’t submit to their plugin SVN.

You’ve tried to contact them without success so I think a “plugin reloaded” release may be the best way to go.
