    Hi

    I have been testing the plugin and have 2 question I hope you can help with.

    1. How can I retrieve the data entered by the customer in your plugin for the Woo emails and the pdf invoices, like I do with the fields in the checkout? Without hiring a developer that is.

    2. In the plugin description you state: “Input fields to collect data on checkout”
    FIELDS being plural means more than one field. Am I missing something since I can only use one field or are you overselling the free version?

    With Kind Regards
    Poul

  • Hi @essepol,

    1. Generally, fields data is stored as an array in order meta with _alg_wc_cpg_input_fields key. As for mentioned plugins – could you please post links to both plugins, so I could check it on my server.

    2. You are correct, the description is not accurate – it should be “1 field with free version and unlimited fields with Pro version”. I will fix the description asap. Sorry for that.

    @essepol,

    Update: As promised, I’ve just updated the description for the free version.

    Thank you for a quick reply.

    I am struggling to find a standard solution to my liking when i comes to email and pdf invoice plugins, so I cannot tell you which ones at the moment.

    But I can work with the information you have given me.

    Thanks

    Kind Regards

    Hi @essepol,

    Actually we also have “PDF Invoicing” and “Custom Emails” for WooCommerce plugins. Both are recently released, so may be a bit “raw”, however, I would gladly add any features you need there, if any are missing. “PDF Invoicing” plugin is here – https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/pdf-invoicing-for-woocommerce/. As for “Custom Emails” – for the moment it’s only Pro version available on our site, but we are going to release free version on wp.org by the end of this month. And, obviously, I will able to help you with displaying payment gateways data in both plugins.
