How to run plugin with wp-cli ?

  • Hi! Can you tell me how to run the plugin using wp-cli?

    The plugin is working GREAT — such a lifesaver thank you!! — BUT we keep hitting getting a website timeout. I saw your suggestion in another post to use wp-cli but I’m not sure how to specify the posts to run it on?

    We have almost 300 posts so it would take forever to run manually. Hoping I can add a cron job to run a few at a time.

    Hi Lisa,

    I’m afraid my plugin does not work with wp-cli for exporting.

    The output file is a regular WordPress export file, so importing can be done with wp-cli.

    I did a quick scan on how to support wp-cli, I think support would be either ‘kinda hackish’ or require me to write a completely new wp-cli export routine. The way the wp-cli export code is written makes it hard to extend.
