I wasn’t aware of WR ContactForm. There is no integration currently.

To see if integration is possible, we would have to see if that plugin provides a hook that CFDB could subscribe to so that it can see incoming submission.

    Thanks Michael for your response!

I don’t know (in fact, I couldn’t understand when I tried to look into the code) what hook is provided by WR ContactForm and what is needed by CFDB. Actually, I can’t achieve what I need with the forms supported by CFDB (I haven’t tried Gravity Forms though as it’s not free), and I find WR ContactForm to be the best for me. So I want to use both CFDB and WR ContactForm. Now problem is that I can’t integrate these two.

It seems to be mean, but can I most humbly ask you if you can spare some time to look into WR ContactForm to check whether it could be integrated with CFDB. I think this form is so intuitive and so versatile (and perhaps best suited for beginners) that you may even think to integrate it with CFDB as you have done others like CF7. ??

    Thanks!

    Hi Michael

As per the information provided by Dev of WR ContactForm, there are 3 hooks which can be considered:

    1. wr_contactform_frontend_action_save_form
    2. wr_contactform_before_save_form
    3. wr_contactform_after_save_form

These hooks are located at contactform-frontend.php

Can you please guide me what should I do next?

    Thanks!

That is good news. I will need to look at the code and see if I can modify CFDB to get the data. I’ll hopefully look at it this week. Once I do it, I would like you to take an early release version to test. OK?

You bet! I’ll do that. Thanks!

    Hello Michael
Have you been able to give time to the subject issue? If yes, please tell me from where to get the beta version for testing.
    Thanks!

I’ve worked on it. It is more complicated that expected. I’m still working on it.

Michael you are wonderful…it’s working! Although, I’ve not checked for all the possible fields of the WR ContactForm, it’s working for the fields I checked for. I will test it for other fields in due time and notify you of the result. And I’m confident it will work flawlessly…

    Hi Michael

I’ve completed testing and its working seamlessly. I’ve tested it with various combinations of fields, including file uploads, multipage forms, and conditional fields, and noticed no problem at all.

    I think its a complete success….

    Thanks again!
