How to search for Improved Plugin Installation?

  • I do not understand how to search so that I can restrict results to words only in its name, or better, and exact match. For example, I want to obtain the Improved Plugin Installation plugin. When I search from the website or from within the WordPress dashboard, all kinds of irrelevant results appear.

    How can I do a search that in other systems would be something like “Improved Plugin Installation”, ‘Improved Plugin Installation’, or perhaps +Improved +Plugin +Installation ?

  • Use Google. I’ve found the WordPress plugin search to be almost useless due to all the irrelevant results.

    Thanks. I had another agenda, though. I’m writing some documentation on installing plugins using the Dashboard interface, and this one simply doesn’t come up properly. But I’m at least glad to get some confirmation. I thought there was maybe some severe pilot error happening here.
