How to secure wordpress blog integrated on website?

  • Hi Experts,

    My name is Raman Kumar, as an SEO I am maintaining the company website. Month ago, I have integrated wordpress blog in the website : https://www.digitalpatang.com/digitalblog/ now my concern is I want to know can I use security plugin for wordpress blog also or that plugins only working for wordress website itself. Although I am taking backup every 15 days but that takes so much time for it.

    Would be thankful if anyone could guide me to make my company blog secured by any plugin.

    You said that WordPress is your blog, so I’m not sure what you mean by “wordpress website itself”?

    Hello, ramandigital.

    You can install a security plugin in your WordPress install in the
    /digitalblog/ folder of your webspace.

    The security plugin will of course only work for your WordPress install and not for your whole website (in case you meant that in your initial question).

    Backups: Just select one of the backup plugins in the WordPress plugin repository
    https://www.ads-software.com/search/backup and try it out.

    The important detail when selecting a plugin is to choose one that allows you to run the backup automatically (without you having to start the process). That way you will save some time.

    Well, I mean by wordpress website which are developed in wordpress.
