The plugin only shows the real site to logged in members. People who are not logged in will see the coming soon page.

If you are not seeing your site when you are logged in then the function is_user_looged in() is not working properly. Usually WordPress misconfiguration issue.

when I am logged in and have this plugin enabled, i see the site for a sec and then it dims and stays dim. when I view the site not logged in, the site is dimmed and displays the maintenance message. Why do I get the dimmed screen (in any browser) when logged in as admin?

Not sure without actually seeing it. Are you running any caching.

no im not. i just deactivated and deleted the plugin and its still showing the site dimmed. please help. site is https://www.armadillosicecreamshoppe.com/

it shows the dimmed screen even when no one is logged in – on all browsers.

ok i was in a hurry to fix this asap and i found that when i disabled “advanced browser check’ that the site didnt dim anymore. so its fixed now but this is certainly something to not that there’s a compatibility issue.
