• Hello,

I’ve already posted in the past but got no responses. I wanted to sell in Canada, and tried following a tutorial to do so, but it didn’t function. I wanted to open my website up to Canada, but I wanted to post different prices from the U.S. market.

    Can someone please help me?

  • If I understand your request (English is my 3rd language), you essentially want a multi-currency Woocommerce setup, but with the ability to manually set price for each currency (as opposed to automatic conversion of currencies). Also, customers should be able to pay in the currency they select.

    If that is right…

You’ll need a plugin to do this, as Woocommerse doesn’t handle this. This plugin claims to do this though I haven’t tested it: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce-product-price-based-on-countries/

If the above plugin doesn’t work for you, google “Woocommerce Multi Currency Store” — the first link to Codecanyon is a commmercial plugin which offers the functionality you seek. I’ve no affiliation to any of these plugins, but I’m not sure what WP forum’s rules are regarding linking to commercial plugins, that’s why I didn’t provide the link.

    Hi George,

Thanks for responding so quickly. I downloaded the plugin.

For example if I sell an item in the US for USD 15.00 I would like to sell the same item at USD 22.00 to a Canadian client because of shipping costs, is this possibile with this plugin?

As I mentioned I’ve not tested any of the plugins. But they both advertise this very feature. From the linked plugin page:

You have two ways to set product's price for each region:

-- Calculate price by applying an exchange rate.
    -- Set price MANUALLY.

So I believe that should be possible. For each country, you should be able to set whatever price you want using the MANUAL setting.
