How to send form Checkbox text in Mail if “Off” is chosen ?

    I have an element in the form <label> [checkbox subscribe-to-offers default:1 “subscribe for free offers.|Yes”] </label>

    And this sends Yes to the mail variable correctly. But when the checkbox is turned off, its sends a blank. How can I get the off state to send some text?

    I tried <label> [checkbox subscribe-to-offers default:1 “subscribe for free offers.|Yes|No“] </label> but not working.

    In mail: Newsletter: [subscribe-to-offers]
