Hi,

I’m having an issue with the Forminator email notification editor. When creating a template for my form, I can’t prevent the editor from converting plain text to HTML.

Current behavior:
- The email editor (Visual/Text tabs) automatically wraps content in tags
- Can’t write pure plain text without HTML conversion
- Plain text formatting is not preserved
What I need:
- Write email content without automatic HTML wrapping
- Use the text editor without tags conversion
- Keep plain text format with form variables ([text-3], [email-1], etc.)
Is there a setting or method to disable the automatic HTML conversion in the email notification editor?

This is standard behavior in Forminator and I’m afraid this will be outside the scope of support we can provide as such a thing will require custom coding. For that, you’ll need to hire a developer to provide the required custom code for you. Hi, @wpmudevsupport13

If there is a possibility to add the option to send emails in both HTML and plain text formats, rather than defaulting to HTML, which cannot be changed, I would greatly appreciate it. Due to the lack of this feature in Forminator, I had to use Contact Form 7 and configure everything from scratch.

I hope this feature can be considered for future updates.
