    Hi,

I would like to view the emails that the WordPress sends to the admin or member when something is done that results in an email being sent. For example:

    • Email changed
    • Reset password request
    • and so on.

How can I send the WordPress emails to myself to view what emails WordPress sends to admin and members and what the emails look like?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply, but I don’t know all the scenarios why WordPress would send an email to registered users or admin, etc.

Is there a plugin that can be used to view the default emails that WordPress sends to registered users, admin, etc?

    Thanks

No, I don’t think there is such a thing. WordPress itself sends relatively few emails. I am only aware of the following events that trigger this:

    • Forgotten password (initiated by the user below the login screen)
    • Send password reset (initiated by the admin on the user under Users in the backend)
    • If a PHP error occurs (only goes to the stored admin email).

You could also install a plugin that documents every outgoing email and can display it to you. This would be one for this, for example: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-mail-logging/
