How to set Commission Fee for both the Customer and Vendor

    Hi,

    I’m working on marketplace for event industry. My revenue model is to charge both the customer and vendor, Service Fee 5% and Commission Fee 10%, respectively.

    I’m able to set Service Fee 5% under the module Tax. However the 5% Service Fees go to the vendor instead of the marketplace. With this settings, the commission fee is charged based on Product Price+Service Fee. Which is not right.

    I need a solution so that when Vendor charge USD10 in the platform. The Service Fee 5% = USD0.50 goes to the marketplace and also the commission fee 10% =USD1 goes to the marketplace.

    Can anybody guide how to achieve this as this is quite straightforward.

    Currently, in Dokan, the available option is to set a commission for the vendor, which you’ve already configured. However, adding a separate commission or service fee for the customer that redirects to the marketplace requires advanced customization beyond the standard settings.

    To achieve the functionality where the service fee from the customer goes directly to the marketplace, and both commissions are calculated correctly, you’ll need to customize the Dokan and WooCommerce codebase.

    For this type of customization, we recommend hiring a professional WordPress and WooCommerce expert who can implement the necessary changes according to your specific requirements.
