How to set featured image in on the homepage?

Hi there,

Hope anyone can/will help me. I’m searching for days for this but no answers are givin..

I’m using a free template (designpile from site5). I can’t figure out how to get an image in the featured post. this is my site until now: site

The site5 documentation said: “For the image of featured post you need to add a custom field called “featured_img” with the full path to the image as value.”

But i don’t understand what they mean with this. I have the idea it’s written before wp 3.0.

I would be very happy if somebody could help. Thanx a lot!
