    Hi,

I’ve seen some variations on this question, but all have your standard response:

“This forum is reserved for supporting the free version of Yoast SEO. As this topic is about a premium add-on”

But this now seems to be a very much a feature in the free version of Yoast..

I already have GTIN stored on 300 products in a meta field, which is picked up for my Google shopping feed etc. I set this via a barcode reader and product import to Woocommerce.

It looks like Yoast has implemented its own GTIN field, so I’m considering whether to now maintain this value in two places, what the benefits will be etc. But I certainly won’t be editing every product one at a time to do so!

    Can you tell me:
    – Is there a way to set this field via a Woocommerce product import? I can’t see this new Yoast field when I do an export, so have you stored it somewhere different?
    – If not possible via Woocommerce import, is this possible somehow in the paid version of Yoast?
    – If it’s only possible to import in the paid version, can you tell me what benefit would I get from going to all the expense and effort of dual-maintaining my GTINs? The Yoast docs seem quite weak in this area.

    thanks! ??
