• Hi,

on my website I am using Google Maps block. It works fine when set with the general address of my business’ location. But I would like to set the Google Maps so it would show specifially my business – so in the upper left corner would be the name of my business, the reviews, and you could click through not to see just the plain address, but my google business profile.

In the Google Maps block settings, there is only one field for address. I tried to enter my business profile name followed by the address, but it works only halfway – when first visiting the page with the block, the map show different place in the same city, it’s shifted. After refreshing the page it reloads and shows correctly the map with my business name. But it’s not consistent.

Is there a better way how to set the google maps block to show my business profile consistently?

    Thanks for any help!

    Hi @dominikbenda,

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

I am getting consistent marker with the map block on my installation. Can you please check by turning off all the third-party plugins and if you are using cache plugin, please also disable it for the testing purpose. And don’t forget to clear all the caches including the server-side cache.

Please try and let me know how it goes.

    Have a nice day!

    Hi @mohsinbsf,

thanks for your response. I use only few plugins that should not interfere with map block, and yes, I use cache plugin. But I need to use it, so turning it off is not a solution.

But to be clear, I have no problems with the map block when only the general address is set, it works flawlessly. But my main question was how to even set the map block to show my google business in the first place. Because I couldn’t find a way to link it to my business profile other than type in the business name and address altogether in the address line. And I think it’s not the best way, as it’s not a direct link or identifier.

So again, is there any better way to set this?

    Thank you.
