How to set playlist order (pro)

Hi Gnomecircle… in current version of the plugin the songs should appear in the order in which they were uploaded. I’m just putting the finishing touches on a drag n drop playlist manager feature which will be released in the next couple of days. This will allow you to order the playlists much more reliably and easily so hopefully that will solve your problem.

….. just letting you know Pro Version 1.3 was released today with the new drag n drop playlist manager so you can now order your playlist properly.

Heyas! Just barging in here…

I upgraded to 1.3, but nothing much seems to have changed…where do I access the ‘drag and drop’ playlist option? I have LOADS of players on my site, many with multiple songs, and the main page player changes weekly. We’d love to be able to drag and drop the order so that the newest additions are on top!

If you’ve upgraded to latest Pro Version then in Manage Songs you should now be able to grab songs and drop em in a new order. Let me know if it’s not working for you…

I have just updated mine and still have not found any way to change the order of the songs in a single playlist. I am not using pro version. Can you provide any help? Thanks.

Sorry the drag n drop function is only in Pro Version.

The Drag and Drop is working VERY well ??

The only challenge is that since we have like…40 or 50 playlists on our site, sometimes updating one is complicated since there are about 100 songs in the master list of songs, so we have to drag up and down to find the other songs in that particular playlist.

I think I have a fix, though…any static playlists I put at the bottom of the master list, and the ones that change regularly we have at the top of our Master list ?? Easy!

Actually I am working on an improvement to this for next major release (will release in the new year)… the idea will be to separate out the playlists, kind of like how NextGEN does galleries. So this will make it much easier to manage larger amounts of music.
