How to set style when using shortcode

    Hello,

    I’m using the shortcode to insert the search, please can you advise how I can set the style when using the shortcode? I’ve tried ‘style=”sliding”‘ with no luck. I’d like to use the same style in my menu as the sliding option, but I can’t add it using the standard settings as I need it to be the second menu item and not the last.

    I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

    The style option is only available to the search form added in the menu and not to the shortcodes.

    You can add a search form to the menu and change its style as described on the below pages.

    Thanks for the information – I have already done that but it adds it to the bottom of the menu (last item), the only way I can position it in the menu is via short code.

    It will be ok for now it’s just not ideal, perhaps this can be added in a future version (ability to include style in the shortcode)?

    Do you want to display it as a first menu item?

    If yes then could you please share the page URL from your site where it is displaying so that I can help you?

    I would actually like to add it as the second option if possible after ‘Browse’: morgansmiths.com is the link (site is still in progress). I appreciate this might not be possible.

    Yes, currently it is not possible to display it there but I will implement this in the future version of the plugin.
