  • Did you check what’s set at Options -> General under the “Date and Time” section?

Yes but I’m not familiar with that type of thing. I’m sure you know what it says. One part says “-6 for Central Time.” That’s nice an all but my time zone is Eastern.

P.S. – I’m sure this is simple to some people but I’m lost ??

well, hmm, lets do some simple math, if -6 is CST, then wouldnt -5 be Eastern?

They are ONE hour apart, right?

If you want to confirm this, you go here:

    https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/

you click on a city in YOUR timezone, like Washington DC,

    https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=263

and you read the top of the page:

    UTC/GMT Offset
Standard time zone: UTC/GMT -5 hours
No daylight saving time at the moment
Time zone abbreviation: EST – Eastern Standard Time
