• Hi,
I updated to the newest version today and lost my CSS that aligned the fields in 2 columns. For example, one field on the left, one field on the right, like this:
    First Name | Last Name
    Email | Telephone No.

I’ve been trying to edit the CSS to achieve the same results, but it’s not happening. Any suggestions for how to do this?
    thank you, Anne

  • There is a new follow field feature in the field details, where you can make one field follow the next. Follow previous field only works with two fields on ‘labels on top’ style setting.

There is a way to use a table to make 2 colums but I have not had time to make a help page yet.

    Hi Mike,
Yes, I noticed that new “follow field” feature. It didn’t work for me in the way I wanted. I have the labels above the fields, and using that new feature placed the fields next to the labels. I’ll take a break and give it a try again later.
    thank you, Anne

I have the same issue. When I′am using the ajustment ‘labels on top’ in combination with the ‘follow field’ option, the adressed field is indented but not on the side of the first field.

please start your own topic – https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/si-contact-form#postform
you might need to post a link to your site to illustrate the issue.

I have the exact same issue as described by mrblista.

    @alchymyth
There is not point in putting the link to the website because:
    1. I am working on it, so by the time you look the issue will probably not be there.

    2. The problem has been clearly described by the other users: fields do not go side by side by using the ‘follow field’, they just indent under the field.

    Thanks!

@sueblue I’ll go one better: can you please post your own topic with your own details as alchymyth wrote? ??

This topic is 8 months old and lots of code has changed since then. You may not want to post a link (and that’s fine) but it will hamper you getting assistance. Being able to see the problem live often makes it easier to solve.

    Got it. Thanks

So I have created a new post and was referred back to this one here.

There is not point in putting the link to the website because:

posting a link might be essential to get proper troubleshooting help as this could be a formatting CSS issue, i.e. interference with the CSS of your site, which depends on the full CSS of your theme and other elements like plugins.

Here is the link to the form page. I am still working on it as there are more fields to add. Thanks
