• Hi

I am developing a new site and i am looking at the best plugin to use for the following, and the best way of doing it.

i want to first of all have a registration page similar to this below

Then i want to be able to add an author page where they can add their name, and also a bit of information about themselves and then a picture of themselves.

Next i want a form where they can add their story and then i would look at the story to make sure it is suitable before publishing it to my site. i want to be able to look at the story and then if it is suitable to be able to publish it straight away.

the site will be aimed at people being able to share their tips and advice on holidays in the uk.

Can anyone please give me guidance on the best plugins to use for this. thank you

  • Hi There!,

You could try this plugin called WPForms.

You can look at their website WPForms.com .

    To create a register page.
From Pages -> Add New -> Rename to Register

If you want you can add it to the menu from the MENU section.

Create Your WP Form and paste the code to the register page. It should work for you.

    Hello @vintageman

WP Forms or Ninja Forms does the job very well.

If you would like a little bit more customization, you could use Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to make a make a content form where they can add their picture and profile too. Upon submission, ad administrator would have to approve before it gets posted.

is there anything out there cheaper than wp forms and ninja.

You could use Contact Form 7 and 2nd plugin that extends registration functionality.

Advanced Custom Fields would also do the job and they have excellent documentation and resources.

Or making your own plugin with one function that displays the form, and a function to process the form submission.
