How to set up Enhanced Link Attribution

Per this article https://support.google.com/analytics/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=2558867 I’d like to add a tag to the tracking code and was wondering how best to do this with the WordPress for SEO plugin.

I could add it under Advanced > Custom Code, but I’m a little worried that if I do and you subsequently update the plugin to include enhanced link attribution then the code will be botched. Perhaps I should use “host ga.js locally”? I would just like some advice on your recommendations for this so I don’t have to redo it later, or cause other problems.
