How to set up filters
-
Hi! I am completely lost, how to set up filters for my webpage. I am currently making website with very few products (dont use woo commerce, because it isn’t needed for my purpose). Every product is made as a post. I have ACF custom fields here (for example characteristics of a products). In few posts/products are fields filled with any value. Few products are in own category (i have 4 categories).
I am using Elementor pro, so first i made custom template page and set the Filter everything here but there was an error that i need to use Filter everything PRO.
So i made <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>archive</span> custom template and add filter here. An error message occured again. Now it tellng me something like there is no filter set configured for this page type. You can create a new Filter Set for them.
So i set simplest filter like this: Type of filter: Post, Filter: Categories, so it can filter only for my 4 categories. But still same error message. Tried lot of variations with post type, categories, names, and so on… No success.I viewed lot of tutorials on youtube but i don’t know what i am doing wrong. Did things exactly like in tutorials but with no success. ?? I am intermediate webdeveloper.
This is exactly how i need it – https://demo.filtereverything.pro/posts/author-stepasyuk/category-health/ but i dont know how to set it ??Thanks a lot for all your help!
Regards,
Martin!
